Capacity building
At our Training Institute
1. Approx.
120 pupil are trained every year in S/W skills
2. At least
20 pupil are trained every year in H/W skills
3. Approx
10-15 trainees are adopted for Industrial Training/
Apprenticeship
4.
Interactions with local industries/ business groups is
established to generate
employment opportunities
VVF is partnering with CII, Indian Farmers and
Industries Alliance and the Army Welfare
Corps to design ICT based skill sets
for capacitating and rehabilitation of retired defense
personnel
VVF is conducting a Life-skill training module at
Rajendar Ashram, housing 150 boys,
in various skills including computer
hardware and troubleshooting. About 30 boys will
be equipped in the given skill-set
and will be supported by VVF for setting up a
self-help group towards employment.
